My Story
Alisa K. Michaels is an American author and teacher, best known for her highly acclaimed mythological YA Fantasy novels: The Siren Series, in which she expertly weaves ancient Greek Siren lore into modern society. Her ongoing tale—told through the eyes of 16-year-old Siren-in-training, Selena—follows her search to find a balance between her supernatural lineage and her place in the mortal world. This remarkable book series will not only touch your heart, but make you believe that gods and goddesses live among us. Along for this unique ride are family, friends, and two eccentric legendary Siren aunts.

Not surprisingly, Ms. Michaels has created a lovable, yet somewhat flawed female protagonist, in a story filled with humor, action, adventure, romance, and a rare glimpse into a mythological world that still influences modern day culture.

Among her accolades, Alisa K. Michaels’ premiere YA Fantasy novel: Selena’s Song: Book One of The Siren Series was unanimously voted into The Library of Congress and is now registered in the World Catalog, making it accessible to millions of readers around the globe.
